My favourite Portland-based band Human Hollow are back with a new single! Like many of their previous tracks, "Playing Dead" was created during one of their wholesome against the clock sessions, which you can watch here. It's a raw and hard-hitting EBM-fuelled banger - I'm totally loving the instrumentation skills here, as well as the vocal effects. Support the band, and cop the single here (available in two versions).

Ritualz - Testify
"Testify" is the second single promoting the upcoming 15 years anniversary compilation from Ritualz. The track dials up the zombie tempos of the 2010 era, serving a dose of the old school vibe that could easily make it to JC's first two EPs. Pre-order the album "Forever" here.

Pure Silhouette - Fairgrounds
Pure Silhouette is Language Instinct's own Greg Nunn, this time with a sci-fi-esqe experimental transmissions that linger somewhere between multi-layered ambient, musique concrète and deconstructed sound design. I say "sci-fi", because listening to "Fairgrounds" makes me think of Nolan's epic movies, where reality bends and folds into itself, creating an elaborate, kaleidoscopic collage of sounds, melodies and textures.

Montoya - Call Away
Emogazer Montoya returns with his latest single "Call Away", a self-produced hip-hop/indie ballad. Download/stream here.
STRFLL - B-Sides
"B-Sides" is STRFLL getting their house in order before the premiere of their debut album, collecting some of the loose joints that didn't make the cut. "(2)" is my personal favourite here, all the tunes are louder and more in your face, but I guess that means nothing to anyone who hasn't heard the album yet (I had the privilege). Overall, it's a good selection of bonus tracks that, in my opinion, rightly didn't end of on the final product.

Yeong Die - Late Call
I'm obsessed with this incredibly familiar-yet-alien artwork created by 3D designer Uljiro Kim for Yeong Die's new two-track single "Late Call". It features a minimal, deep house burner on side A, and an equally skeletal techno piece with a slight tribal flavour on side B. Very good. Cop both tracks here.
