MEGAFAUNA (Xadaa Barlovv) and Homesick Ghosts (Elli McGuire + Josh McCorkle) are two artists I was not aware of before they reached out, but I am so glad they did. Their new single "Freeze" promotes the upcoming EP "Nature Is Healing", which is set to premiere on August 1st. "Freeze" is simply sublime, its faint melody, painted with flute, evokes the fairy aura of "Pinic At Hanging Rock". But the field recordings and sound design, paired with a drone lurking in the background, transform this meditative ambient piece into something more eerie and mysterious. Love it!
