Cousin Silas (Dave Hughes) and Glove of Bones (Adrian Nicholls) are frequent collaborators that carved their own niche constructed from dub and ambient sounds. Their new album "New Runes", released like most of their previous LPs by Submarine Broadcasting Company, takes a different, but equally interesting approach - it's more of a library record that could serve as a source for various snippets of sounds, soundscapes and moods. Dark ambient meets art rock meets psych-beat and dub, all filtered through the lenses of hauntology and drones. If Finders Keepers or Ghost Box are your go-to labels, check this one out.
"New Runes" is out now on cassette tapes here (including regular and special editions), and stream it down below.
