Attic Black - Drone Tide 1 & 2

Wild sea drones courtesy of Attic Black. Two deep and menacing soundscapes that sounds like they were recorded somewhere in the Bermuda triangle a few decades ago, and only now resurfaced. Love it. Check both tracks here, cop them for £2.

Attic Black - Holographic Lantern (1&2)

New track from British composer Attic Black, "Holographic Lantern (1&2)", is 13 minutes of pulsing, industrial dark ambient that edges close to minimal techno and transforms into a warped ballroom recording towards the end. Haunting vibes. The release also includes a hardfloor acid remix by Relict Hominid. Get both tracks here.

Attic Black - Orange Moon Rising

Full moon droning from Matt Black, two tracks inspired by the super moon event at the end of August 2023. Slowly transforming lunar-ambient soundscapes. Very moody stuff. Grab it here.

Attic Black - Rainbow Chaser EP

Prolific producer Attic Black is back with a new EP "Rainbow Chaser". Four fleeting, hazy ambient soundscapes carved with emotion and suspense, are paired with remains of beats that seem to hover on the horizon.

Attic Black - Mesh // Back Room

Fresh double A single from Attic Black. "Mesh" kicks off with an experimental, faraway droning sounds and muted vocals sourced from some odd radio transmission, only to mutate into this pulsating semi-club-ready composition. "Back Room" is much calmer and composed, a droning synth is matched with soft strumming and processed vocals. This one won me.

Attic Black - Datatrait EP

Attic Black is an alias of Oxford-based producer and painter Matt Black, who has a string of releases on his bandcamp page. His new EP "Datatrait" came out a few days ago, and it's a cinematic voyage through four compositions that sit at the crossroads of early electronic experimentations, drone synths and ambient soundscapes. Best experienced from start to finish, as the tracks are arranged in a way that allows them to sail smoothly from A to B.

You can purchase the EP here and check it out in full below.
