Eight tracks deep, the release is an amalgamation of multiple genres, spanning the darkest corners of electronic music, raw black metal and industrial. Industrial electro and EBM beats clash on this great LP from Meet Me After Sundown née Dorothy Waste. Glitch, witch-house, noise, metal and IDM are also injected in some of the tracks along the way, making the whole listening experience an exploratory ride full of surprises and unexpected solutions. Promoted by a great single "White Men", the whole thing feels like a soundtrack to a neo-noir movie about a workers' uprising somewhere in the near future. Echoes of the original Matrix movie also hover somewhere in the aura of this release. Dive in and enjoy.

Meet Me After Sundown is an alias of Budapest-based electronic producer previously known as Dorothy Waste. Her latest single "Dried Out Lake" finds her at the crossroads of industrial, grunge and some wierd, mutated electronica, channelling vocal energy similar to oOoOO & Islamiq Grrrls on their collab LP "Faminine Mystique", but with more intensity and power. The track feels raw, bare and honest as hell, and the melody drills itself into your brain after a while. Love it. You can purchase it here.
Meet Me After Sundown is the new alter-ego of Budapest-based producer Dorothy Khaos, previously known as Dorothy Waste. On her new EP "Shadow Self", first under the new alias, she dives into the post-dubstep and dark techno realm, bringing in her witch/industrial electronic experience, which makes this 4-track release truly compelling. Deep bass and thumping beats bring to mind the dystopian Neo-Tokyo from Akira, I'd love to see "dance in the fire" paired with the video of the bike chase scene from the anime. It's a change of style and pace in comparison to her Waste project, but I can totally stand behind this evolution (that being said, I still like her DW project, especially the early EPs).
