Surprise Bandcamp Friday drop from Afta-1, two mellow beats or as he calls them "healing sounds from the archive". "Oasis Meditations" is sitting on the edges of jazz, new age and leftfield beats, while "Ritual Step" takes on deconstructed techno through hip-hop and broken beat lenses. I just blogged about the amazing psych album from The GLK and The Heliocentrics, and here comes AFTA-1 with a joint that fits that vibe perfectly. AFTA-1 - Silica_01

After three years of silence, it took Covid last year to make AFTA-1 finally come back with new material. Since then, he's been quite steadily posting new EPs and demos on his bandcamp.
