Here's the newest (final?) single from Spike Hellis' upcoming sophomore album "Successor". Minimal, stripped back production of "No Bite" is ace, and gives all the space to Cortland's vocals. I'm feeling this, I still can't get over this album art though. Cop the track here.
Luminol's new record "That Summer" kicks off with rich, crusty textures embedded in a wall of noise that herald an upcoming disaster - or at least that's how I interpret those powerful transmissions from the heart of Michigan. Divided into four parts, each one builds on the stems of the last, creating a vibrating, towering layer of harsh noise that slowly consumes the surrounding environment. Play this at your next office party, people will love you.

Voodoo Crystals is a national treasure of America. Do with this information what you want, but make sure to listen to "Air" before you do. Taking a step back from his staple acid-soaked witch house, this new album invites the listener on a long and rewarding post-ambient journey. Adam manages to smuggle in a few light beats here and there, but mostly it's a joyful collection of zoned-out soundscapes, distant, ghostly chants, and deconstructed lyrics. One could even risk tagging this as hauntology - just check out the track "Tidal". Really good stuff!

Back in 2013/2014, I was obsessed with Gaap Kvlt - he's a musician from Poland specialising in crafting atmospheric drone and ritual ambient soundscapes. Somehow, he fell off my radar a good while ago, but today I was pleasantly surprised to find he has a new album out on Bandcamp. "Ain" consists of four long, droning tracks that make me feel like I'm in the middle of some creepy survival horror game, with evil lurking around every corner.

Suffer Ring decided to bury themselves under a ton of bass on their latest single "Burrow" - a new-wave nu-metal track that takes cues from '90s alt-genres and mixes them with modern-day post-witch solutions. So Kxxtz has a new beat tape out today called "Old Ghosts", and to mark the occasion, he stitched together a juicy collage of beats that make up the release - all under six minutes. The album was put out by the Austin-based Insect Records, and is available on super-limited 8" lathe-cut vinyl and cassette tapes. Peep the physicals here, and download the mix here.
Debut EP from Dakota Rogers, an alter ego of Ben from the ever-amazing Beauty. Released by All Blurred Out, the three-track release showcases a different side of Ben's production style - while still rooted in witch house, this one leans more towards shoegazing ethereal drag rather than straight-up hip-hop crushers. Each track on "Your Life Your Days" was recorded with a different collaborator (Charlatan, Gough, and Jardine), but Rogers' personality and style is the glue that makes them all sound cohesive and as one. Great stuff, new-wave witch is alive and well.

Stay Healthy partner up with Haunted Mound's Grimoire to record this radical, half-acoustic half-banger cover of SALEM's "Dance4Me". THis is way too good to be that short! Stream above (or directly on Soundcloud), I'm keeping my fingers crossed it will be downloadable soon.
The New Romantics is back with a brand new synthpop/coldwave jam "It's A Dream", first recorded by The Nuns in 1986. His version is surprisingly similar to the original track, but the vocals add a unique spin to those catchy synth lines. Download here.
Dead Neanderthals are an improv noise/sludge/jazz duo from Nijmegen in the Netherlands. Their discography is massive and spans various genres, but they only recently came on my radar thanks to their sick vampiric dungeon synth demo "Ordo Dracul Demo". Soon after that, I checked out "Demo MMXXV", which blew me away with the sheer power of its metal. Three hardcore tracks forming a wall of sound that slowly fills your horizon until there's nothing else left. Sludge fucking rules. Out now on limited edition mini CDs courtesy of Bone Valley.

Two italian noisemakers Exome and Hålbå reunite on "Eternal Holocaust", their second album after 2024's "Waste Of Life". Released by Italian noise purveyors Deepthroat Records, the album thrives in a power-electronics and harsh noise dystopian universe - it's violently powerful yet surprisingly minimal in its execution. Fucking love it.

"A Beast of Condensation" is the latest release from Lou's most acclaimed side-project, marking its first activity since a 2018 collaboration with Basic House. This new 40min album, released on tape by Research Laboratories, delves into the tape-hiss infused world of manipulated ambience and unpolished noise-drone. Listening to this feels like walking into remains of a house that just burned down but has not fully gone out.

Out of nowhere, Salem released a new (and their first) compilation called "Red Dragon" today. collecting a number of tracks that were floating online for years, dating back to their Myspace era. This huge treat for fans comes with a bittersweet flavour - leaks show that Heather was not informed about this release, which is being sold and streamed on all major platforms. Night Foundation returns with mesmerising, dubby minimalism on his new album "Wrapped Up In Time", released on vinyl via Gateway Gardenia. I was quite shocked to discover this came out back in November 2025, only to find it in mid-May when it was already sold out everywhere! The album features past Noir Age collaborators Little Annie and Zhe Pechorin, hitting all the right spots for fans of atmospheric, late-night electroacoustic music. It's pulsing with mystery, lurking in the shadows, but also has a charming amount of fun and life hiding in plain sight. "Night Blooming Jasmine" has a special place in my heart for being a tribute to the late David Lynch. The whole album is so good, don't sleep on it.

Seeing a new notification from AFTA-1's Bandcamp always brings a huge smile to my face - dude went AWOL for years, so it's such a joy to hear new joints from his workshop. It's no different with "Divine Space" - a dreamy, zoned-out, and surprisingly dubby instrumental that will make you float three feet above the ground. So good. Make sure to support him here.
Bow Church has just dropped a new, two-track single on Bandcamp. "Mortal" is dope, meant for dark rooms in nightclubs and sci-fi soundtracks. "Immortal" is advertised to appeal to "the synth/ambient nerds", but I bet it will also turn some AFX/IDM heads as well. Buy both tracks here.
Ritualz continues his unreleased and obscure tracks compilation series, "Rare Trax", with volume four. The five songs stylistically bounce between breakbeat rave, industrial, rough synthwave, futuristic witch house tribute to The Sopranos, and the old-school-sounding "Distress Signal", which gives me a real CDR-era vibe. Last year, I†† released the album "Suspiriorum", which I reviewed here. Since then, that record was picked up by Florida's Illuminated Paths and given the cassette treatment. Now, the project is back on the label with a new LP "Future Communication", this time delivering a straight-to-tape, one-hour-long ghost drone sonic mass. Minimal arrangements can be tricky to nail and inadvertently lead to a sense of lack, but I†† manages to cast a spell by evoking just enough occult atmosphere and 2010s zombie rave charm to keep me fully immersed.

Nic Ives returns with two audio collages, recorded live using found tapes and genius mixing skills. "Ticket to Hiroshima" starts with something that sounds like a twisted rendition of the Picnic at Hanging Rock theme song recorded in the Twin Peaks Red Room, then slowly evolves into a medley of snippets and clips that feel as though they were re-recorded multiple times over some homemade '80s VHS tape. "Chimp Assemblage", on the other hand, channels new-fi and lo-age that one could accuse Hype Williams of pumping out back in their golden era. Proper mutant hypnagogia.
