Imminent Death - Scorched Earth Gallop

Allison Tantakarn returns with her Imminent Death project, launching new, self-released tape "Scorched Earth Gallop". Her previous album, "Radiant Ignition", has been on replay ever since I discovered it, so I'm quite stoked to check out this follow-up. Unfortunately, the album is available on tape only as of now, with just a handful of tracks available for preview. From what I can tell, it will be a gnarly slab or power electronics, spiced with sci-fi drones and extra-textured ambient soundscapes. Music for horror, music for space, music for dystopian nightmares. Fucking A.

White Columns - Inside Voices / Outside Voices (Live at Share House, 13.06.2026)

Live recording of White Columns' performance that took place at Sharehouse in Adelaide on 13 June, 2026. "Inside Voices / Outside Voices" pivots from WC's usual noise explorations, instead channeling meditative ambient frequencies that emit an invisible zen aura throughout the four tracks this performance was divided into. The strings are something else here! Please give this one a go, it's really good.

Feral Agathist - (untitled)

Feral Agathist is an experimental electronic/musique concrète project from Ben O'Brien, based in Kitchener, Canada. "(untitled)" is his latest recording, a 22-minute-and-45-second tape manipulation that merges three separate pieces into a single, warped yet completely irresistible track. Haunted echoes of previous entities that once occupied the original cassettes surface every now and then, giving this release a truly special quality. Really enjoyed this one - download it here.

Impale Me - A Big Smile Inside The Sky..

"A Big Smile Inside The Sky.." is a new EP by British artist Impale Me. Across its six tracks, he takes us through the looking glass into a peculiar world that reminds me of Raw Moans from the golden era of Disaro, but with more actual witch house embedded in the productions. These are slow jams that manage to capture that hazy, early witch house era I fell in love with 16 years ago. I'm totally charmed by the hypnotic "Le Petit Homme Rouge", but to be honest, all the tracks here are quality and craft a dreamy mood that dips into hypnagogia.

Now this one is a massive surprise! Alex and Phoebe from Blissed Out (household name from the 2010-era witch house) reformed and low key released a new album called "Hurricanes & Hellcats" last month! "Creep" is one of the singles that made its way onto my radar! Fucking rules.

Runaway Horses - Everything Everything

Runaway Horses is an experimental and noise-adjacent project by Ty Hannah from Michigan. His latest record "Everything Everything" was picked up by Language Instinct, fitting perfectly into their post-ambient and drone-noise ecosystem. Recorded after a period of loss and grief, the album slowly unravels before us, exposing noisy textures, field recordings, and even unexpected moments of knocking.

Monomorte - The Pull

Monomorte takes cues from the late 2000s bass scene with his new post-dubstep/witch house single "The Pull". Wobbly bass and fat synths beg to be experienced at the dance floor one day. Support my guy here, and stream above.

Animal Lust - Persona Non Grata

Animal Lust is back again with a brand-new longplay "Persona Non Grata". Boasting guest appearances from Bile Ducts and Calciner, the album is a twisted ride where you can tick off sub-genre boxes as you go. Among all the sonic manipulations, elements of HNW, industrial, power electronics, alien ambient, and indescribable noise are all fighting for your attention. A true journey from start to finish for any brave souls willing to test their mental state. The weirder it gets, the more I dig this record.

Werewolf Jerusalem - The Ravens Are Watching

Hibernian Leather welcomes Werewolf Jerusalem to their ranks - a stalwart side project alongside the numerous alter egos of Richard Ramirez. His new album "The Ravens Are Watching" spans both sides of the cassette, utilising the lo-fi quality of the medium to channel the static and wall noises of its creator. "The Surface Below" is particularly captivating, transporting us six feet under, buried alive in a coffin with only a few minutes' worth of air left. Crushing sounds.

Undead Evergreen - Demiuge

s3wer dweller, from the excellent Vertigo Cult EP is now recording as Undead Evergreen and presents a new single, "Demiuge". Its leftfield structure makes me think of an otherworldly crossover between vaporwave and beats, with hints of 2010s-era witch house sprinkled all over it for good measure. I can totally imagine this wedged into a mix between Gummybear and AFTA-1. Peep the track here.

Pale Palace - Madi Banja

The world is truly fucking unfair that a talent such as Pale Palace is still practically unknown. Dude's been dropping hit after hit, has a unique production style, and is consistent as hell. Just check out his new track "Madi Banja" - Swedish witch beats at their absolute peak. Download here.

Three Wishes - Wick (Feat. Pale Palace)

Now this is a collaboration I was not expecting to hear anytime soon! Dagger Forest's stars Three Wishes and Pale Palace link up on "Wick" - an atmospheric, slow-burning witch house single. Whether you love this game to the core, or just rock the SALEM merch for the clout - this should appeal to eveyryone. Stream here, sadly there's no download button enabled.

Body Habitat - Bulominski Hwy

The Boluminski Highway is the main land transportation route on the island of New Ireland in Papua New Guinea, as per Wikipedia description. A variation of its name is also the title for Body Habitat's new album that came out just a few days ago. The idyllic, palm-filled cover art would suggest a mellow downtempo record, but instead we're getting a tropical drum 'n' ambient project that has its chill, sometimes ritual-drone moments, while remaining spray-painted with UK bass-like experiments throughout. It's an unusual album that needs you to be in a specific mood to fully appreciate, but when it hits, it feels very atmospheric.

Human Hollow - Red Rover

Human Hollow are back with a new single - one that has been brewing in their studio for ages, according to the press info. For some reason, hearing "Red Rover" repeated in the chorus makes me think of The Shining, but to be honest, the track does have a distinct Halloween-like quality. It sounds BIG in how it's arranged and recorded—I can imagine it sounding infinitely better in a massive club than through my headset. Buy the single here.

STRFLL - Gloom

Brand new sonic dirge from STRFLL, aptly titled "Gloom". Featuring two original productions by themselves, a track each from Suffer Ring and Gonerville, and a sick Crim3s remix, the minimix packs a punch, despite being only 6 minutes and 40 seconds long. Sadly, the download option is disabled at the time of writing. You can stream the mix on Soundcloud.

Aros E-V - Body Metaphor

Aros E-V is an ambient musician based in Minnesota, better known as Ryan Evans to his friends and family. "Body Metaphor" is his debut album on Language Instinct - a label whose backing acts as a solid stamp of approval, should give you an immediate idea of what to expect sonically. Two long-form lo-fi recordings, slowly evolving as they unfold, capture the small, often unnoticeable moments in life. Drowsy pleasures.

White Columns - Desire Lines

Jolan Lisle, the man behind White Columns, has just released his second album entitled "Desire Lines". Recorded over the course of five months across the turn of the year, the album offers a wonderful micro-universe of sounds, populated by delicate ambient tones, ominous drones, lo-fi field recordings, and occasional noise techniques that add a unique touch of charm to the whole experience. This one is made for those lonely evenings, sitting in a comfy chair with a pair of headphones on, ready to catch all the intricacies White Columns has carefully crafted and selected here. Wonderful album.

New Mexican Stargazers - Morning Rituals

"Morning Rituals" is the latest album by always-reliable lo-fi shaman New Mexican Stargazers. Beautiful music, recorded across two long takes running over 18 minutes each, that is meant for home rituals and blissful meditation. This is the exact type of ambient music I constantly crave - something to help me disconnect, take a breath, and feel the universe around me. I truly hope this lands on vinyl at some point, but you can snag it on cassette and CDR for now.
