This latest (mini) album from Blvck Ceiling was mailed out with a comment that said: "My favorite project of mine to date. A moment of clarity, I suppose". So I had to check it. The result is okay I guess, for your average Soundcloud producer this would be a rad project to put out, but Dan has set his own bar high up.

Short but juicy hip-hop/witch house single "We Hear Voices" from Blvck Ceiling, was released for the Xmas season for all the horned listeners. Cop it here.
"Neotropical" is Dan's latest EP, produced last year and released just now, with a short run on cassette tapes. According to the artist, some of the tracks that made the cut here are remixes lifted from the "Hello Neighbor" animation. Solid, dark trap and celestial witch house.

Dan Ocean is back with eleven new rituals, channeling the witchy ghosts through his oujia sampler machine. I don't think there's a big and elaborate backstory to "The Valley" - it's simply an album filled with dope, often horror-inspired beats. Easier on the vocal samples this time, which I think puts more focus on his music and arrangements. "Three" is my jam.

"Lite" is the latest album from BLVCK CEILING. Sitting at his signature intersection between witch house, wave and trap, the album serves a dozen of tracks soaked in cinematic quotes. One may argue that Dan's work is repetetive, but dude found the style that works for him well, so why not ride it.
