Volume 3 in the Dead Tape series from G.R. Zombie (aka Xombiemane) is a capsule of experimental, grimy witch house infused with some grunge, screw, trap and horrorcore influences. Think SALEM, SKELETONKIDS or Stay Healthy, but slower and more lo-fi. Dope undertaker music from the darkest corners of Pittsburgh.

G.R. Zombie - Dead Tape II

G.R. Zombie is back with "Dead Tape II", a five track continuation of part one from last month. Witchy beats and graveyard raps clash here, with some SALEM influences thrown into the mix here and there. This one should appeal to hip-hop fans in particular, both "Xombie Walk" and "Violent Shit" sound rad, and the screw talk interlude is pretty self-explanatory. Not GR's best work overall, but definitely worth checking.

New 3-track EP from G.R. Zombie, follow-up to "Save Me God" from January this year. Funeral music for hearse drivers, filled with slowly rolling trap beats and gritty synths, GR's tracks channel some of that SALEM energy, especially when paired with rap on "50". It's quite catchy, well executed, makes me want more.
