New Age Doom - Remix the Universe (Extended Edition)

So last year New Age Doom released the remix album of their amazing collab with Lee Perry. Honeslty I slept on that one, and barely touched it on the blog (I did manage to write about the insane remix from Andy Morin though). Fast forward to March 2023 and We Are Busy Bodies decided to unleash an extended version of said record - with more edits and remixes for everyone's listening pleasure. Psych, drone, free jazz, beats, dub, metal and god knows what else are all condensed into this incredible 17-track capsule of dopeness. Listening to all those versions made me even appreciate the originals from New Age Doom and Scratch even more. Support!

Andy Morin - Life Is An Experiment (Cloud Climber Single Version)

Death Grips' producer Andy Morin takes on New Age Doom and Lee Scratch Perry's "Life is an Experiment" and turns it into a spaced out beats banger. The single is promoting the upcoming album "Remix The Universe" that will feature remixes by Quicksand, BLK JKS, Cola Wars and more. New Age Doom x Lee "Scratch" Perry

Vancouver drone-metal shredders New Age Doom have just released a collab album with late Lee Scratch Perry, via We Are Busy Bodies. Entitled "Lee "Scratch" Perry's Guide to the Universe", the album is a fusion of dub legend's life musings and droning free jazz-like compositions, making it truly one of a kind listening experience. The label just released a video to "Life is an Experiment", possibly the widest clip I've seen on Youtube.
