Remember MΞ? Well the mystery is no more, it's a new project from Mike of Okkvlt Katt fame. But now rebranded to Music For A Movie. Anyway, today he dropped his new single "Paper Airplanes" which promoted his upcoming EP "Painted Oceans". Featuring his own vocals (first time since I can remember?), the track is an amazing tribute to the 80s goth aesthetic, but translated with modern technology and styles. Mysterious MΞ is a new project from a UK-based producer who prefers to remain anonymous. Their "Music For A Movie That Was Never Made" is a great four track release that balances the witch-house concept between drone, metal and dark ambient influences. The record sounds like teleported from 2011 with its daring choice of samples and arrangements (I love the contemporary classical elements of "Ï" that give this quite harsh trach a cinematic charm and grandeur).
