Out of nowhere, Salem released a new (and their first) compilation called "Red Dragon" today. collecting a number of tracks that were floating online for years, dating back to their Myspace era. This huge treat for fans comes with a bittersweet flavour - leaks show that Heather was not informed about this release, which is being sold and streamed on all major platforms. Lead single from Shlohmo's new album "Repulsor", which came out today (the album, not the music video). I haven't had a chance to check the longplay yet, but it should be a solid record. The SALEM-featuring track is ok, but to be honest sounds like a off-cut from "Fires In Heaven". Great video though.
Pepsy has finally uploaded to his Bandcamp page the SALEM bootleg he made a while back on YouTube - seven ungodly remixes that drag SALEM's originals through dirt and lo-fi effects, making them grimier and more evil-sounding.

E_DEATH edited my favourite song from Salem's second album! Her take on "Sears Tower" is a hardkick juggernaut that enhances all the best bits of the original, and supplies an adrenaline boost to the track. Stream here.
STRFLL aced yet another cover, this time SALEM's 2010 classic "Killer". The original fuzzy instrumental got polished here, but the vocals on the other hand got grittier and more raw. Great stuff. Download and support here.
