I am genuinely so stoked about this album! Modern Violenc3 is a new project brought to life by longtime partners Alex Winter and Phoebe Pritchett, who a lifetime ago worked together as part of the witch house duo Blissed Out. After that, they immersed themselves in various hip-hop projects and working solo as Blizzedout and Feebzz, respectively. 2026 brings us Modern Violenc3 and their debut LP "Hurricanes & Hellcats". Production-wise, Alex did an incredible job - it's a daring record filled to the brim with beats that channel hyper-trap and vogue-ready witch house, with ricochets of electroclash, all dripping in that 2K10 sleaze sauce. Phoebe's rap delivery has an ethereal aura that pairs with those instrumentals perfectly, dropped with pure confidence and punch. Incredible record from the very first track - this is going to be on heavy rotation! "Pink Motorola Redux" is a solid contender for my fav track of the year...
