This is actually a jam! Nick León remixes HTDW's "The Only True Joy on Earth", originally found on his 2024 album "I Am Toward You", and stays true to the remix title. It does sound like something you'd hear at a club, early into the morning, drowsily moving across the dancefloor trying to get that last drink. Cop it here.

I haven't checked in with И⸸CO▽SLΛVΞ in a while, so it's good to see the dude is as prolific as he has always been. His new joint "What Is The Point" is a solid 7-minute long inspirational witch wave banger. As usual, the melody, synths, drumwork - it's all there, arranged to the maximum headnod-ometer. Luminol - The Feeling That Something Is Missing

Luminol returns with a new EP "The Feeling That Something Is Missing". I'm usually not a big HNW fan, but there's something special within Luminol's sonic waves, embossed with industrial hiss and grit, that really clicked with me. The whole release is inspired by loss, which I guess one can approach in a personal manner, but for me, there is an obscure, hard-to-identify quality that just draws me in.

Imminent Death / Kate Rissiek - Rigid Horizon

Nova Scotian label Buried in Slag and Debris released this cross-border split tape last month from Imminent Death and Kate Rissiek. "Rigid Horizon" brings us two distinct sides of the experimental electronics coin. Allison of Imminent Death delivers eerie drones and industrial noise that teleport me aboard a ship lost somewhere within the Bermuda Triangle, anxiously drifting and hoping for salvation. Kate's side, on the other hand, leads the confused crew further into the abyss with harsh noise wall transmissions and shrieks of power electronics instrumentation. No one will make it alive. I am generally not 100% sold on the idea of split releases, but this one landed way better than I was expecting. Totally worth your time and money!

Modern Violenc3 - The America Tape

Merely three months after dropping their radical debut album, Modern Violenc3 return with "The America Tape". Sixteen tracks deep, this album builds on the witch-rave foundations of its predecessor, bumping the gear up with nihilistic lyrics and take-no-prisoners tempos - NOS thrown in for an extra boost. In an ideal world, this would be the official soundtrack to a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater game with a forced mode to play at 1.5x speed. The chemistry between Winter's futuristic-yet-current beats and Phoebe's rap delivery is undeniable - they make sure not a single second is wasted throughout this spellbinding record. It's a stunning feat for a band so new (in a way) to build such a powerful foundation in just a few short months. I'm genuinely so excited to see what's next for them. I just hope there will be physical editions of those records!

"Liars" is the second single from Witcha's upcoming album "Marigold", featuring STRFLL on extra production duties. I was not expecting it to sound the way it does, its a fast and furious dancefloor tune, that gived a nod to French electro scene. Download the single here.

Dakota Rogers released this incredible single "Calling" a few months back and I totally missed out on it. Dreamy, ethereal jam based on Burial sample that melts my heart every single time - you just can't go wrong here. Plaese support the artist if you can here.

Lover's Leap - Summer Rain

Lover's Leap returns with a brand new 2-track vinyl single on newly minted Perverse Incentives. "Summer Rain" is a deliciously dark and gritty collage of power electronics, addictive noise signals and chopped up harsh walls. Both tracks are sick, but "Belongings Scattered Around The Entrance" moves something inside me.

Exsufflation - Channel 0

Exsufflation's second album "Channel 0" came out on July 3, but I think I was subconsciously waiting for the season to change and September to arrive so I could sit down with headphones (where the raw intimacy of his lyrics truly lands) and recommend it to the world. Seven songs deep, it's Rob's most personal project to date, written and recorded during a challenging period marked by the deaths of a close friend, his grandmother, and his dog. The result is a witch house dirge that sonically pays respect to the sound of a bygone decade while lyrically offering a glimpse into Rob's mind during this difficult time. His songwriting, filled with love, grief, hope and sadness, is delivered with a voice overflowing with pain and emotion. All these feelings guide both the artist and the listener throughout the record, breaking your heart while slowly nurturing the healing process, ultimately delivering an incredibly engaging album that will undoubtedly land on my end-of-year list.

Deeat Palace – S.c.a.n.n.e.r.

Deeat Palace released her latest album "S.c.a.n.n.e.r." in September of '25 via the French imprint Prix Libre Record. I just realised I've had this post sitting in draft mode since last year, but it was great to revisit it today. "S.c.a.n.n.e.r." furthers her exploration of the wide scope of experimental electronic music, connecting the dots between industrial, noise and power ambient to form a cinematic listening experience. It makes me think of Blade Runner for some reason. Really solid recording - check it out.

Volunteer Coroner - Private Renaissance

Mesmerising new release from Volunteer Coroner. "Private Renaissance" arrived via the English noise imprint Outsider Art, marking Preston's return to the label after 2021's incredible "Eternal" tape. The new project finds VC in his most well-established element, where (to my knowledge) he remains in a league of his own when it comes to blending and juxtaposing forward-facing ambient soundscapes with noise textures. There's a feeling of longing present in these tracksg, perhaps for a future that never was... Essential listening, do not miss this!

I don't have to repeat a million times that AFTA-1 is a genious and one of the best beatmakers of his generation. For the Bandcamp day, he released this groovy, bass-heavy joint that will make you bop your head whether you want it or not. So, so good. Make sure to buy the single here.

Sick mixtape from Beauty, based on his Soundcloud profile made all the way back in 2024, but released on his Bandcamp just two months ago (including download option, which I appreciate 100%). Featuring DJLOSTBOI, Aphex Twin, Dean Blunt and more. Stylistically it's quite all over the place, but that's why I love it. Grab it here.

Mutant Zones' fourteenth mix comes from the vast archives of one of the most creative souls the witch house/experimental electronic scene has ever had - The Ceremonial Dagger. Musician, DJ, visual artist and creative DIY tour de force, Dagz has been an inspiration to me ever since he first surfaced on my radar back in 2011, and I'm super stoked to share this set recorded during a 2015 Shadows & Rhythm event in Austin, TX. A collage of dark synth and industrial witch house, this 30-minute sonic experience should appeal to anyone craving originality in music. Long live Dagz! "Highly Illegal Fly Shit" is a huge, 18-track mixtape/mash-up behemoth from Kutmah, merging (mostly) famous acapellas with underground beats including some rare joints. This one's for all the hardcore hip-hop heads. Beastie Boys on Suicide's Cheree is sick, so is the closing track with Rakim.
