Belgrado - Intra Apogeum

The "Goths For Palestine" compilation made me check out other releases by one of my highlights there—Belgrado—and I'm so glad I did. The band is based in Barcelona and fronted by Polish vocalist Patrycja Proniewska, giving their songs a unique vibe that brings to mind Polish coldwave movement from the 1980s. the album "Intra Apogeum" came out last year, thanks to the ever-amazing La Vida Es Un Mus Discos, and it is truly a sonic time machine, wonderful minimal record that channels elements of post-punk, aforementioned cold wave and elements of gothic synth-pop. Love it.

Home Front - Faded State // video

La Vida Es Un Mus Discos has just announced the debut full length from the Canadian rockers Home Front. Their 2021 mini-album "Think Of The Lie" was one of my fav releases from that year, so I'm really looking forward how much they grew since then. The record "Games Of Power" will come out on March 3, and can be pre-ordered here. Check out the first single from the album above.

Flash - Ansiedad // video

First video single from the upcoming debut album of Basque punk rockers Flash. It sounds like it's meant to be a soundtrack to a biker's bar fight scene from some obscure 90s movie. It's set to be released on 2nd September via La Vida Es Un Mus Discos.

Home Front - Think Of The Lie

Home Front is a new and exciting new wave/post-punk band from Edmonton, Canada that debuted on December 10th with an insanely catchy six track mini-album "Think Of The Lie" released via La Vida Es Un Mus Discos. They manage to sound like they've been teleported from the 80s and at the same time channel raw energy that's so much needed in this pandemic-centric world. The opening track "Flaw In The Design" gives me serious The Cure vibes, and made me fall in love with them straight from there. Whole thing is packed with hits that are insanely addictive and make you believe you've known them for years. Fantastic debut.
