"Pockets Of Interest" is a new album from the Nashville-based leftfield icon, probably his most distorted and grainy record to date. Slightly shifting away from hypnagogic new age and pivoting into shoegaze vaporwave, NMS shows he's open to exploring further edges of his lo-fi universe. Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of this new record - something about it makes me quite anxious, and I lose attention after a while. Interestingly, this album has been pressed on vinyl, so don't sleep, as only 50 copies were made.
