Brieg Dolberg - Atoll

Brieg Dolberg is a musician and producer from Nantes, France, and one half of the tribal techno unit Dañs Bekabe. "Atoll", his de-facto debut album, was released in February this year and, for some reason, split into two EPs. Nautical house, new-world electronica and leftfield techno are all beautifully blended together across both parts. Listening to them tonight takes me back to Nosaj Thing's "Fated" era, mixed with "The Best Of Turntables On The Hudson" compilation and Monster Rally exotica. At some point, the closing track "Little Stone People" brought to mind old school Timbaland productions, which was such a treat. Good stuff, check it out.

Buy part one here, and part two here. Stream them both below.

Joseph Randolph - Liftoff

Joseph Randolph's "Liftoff" is a neo-medieval downtempo EP that came out a few weeks ago. The leftfield e-trap-m beat on the titular track gets you going, before delicate guitar strumming paired with glitchy ambient takes the foot off the gas on track two. The closing composition "Genius & Irrelevance" delivers some of that A24 cinematic eeriness with its beautiful strings collage.

Ghost Cop - Trouble Remixed

Ghost Cop invited a bunch of pals to remix tracks from their 2024 album "Trouble". Next to bespoke versions from Spookystack, More Ephemerol, Ye Gods, Dildox, red eyes red, Public Memory and Houses of Heaven, the album also offers two new remixes from Ghost Cop themselves - the whole record is filled to the brim with EBM, minimal darkwave, post-punk and industrial dance music.

Wardog - Stay Pure

Wardog is Dog99 aka Chase from Stay Healthy. His recent name change comes along this rad new track "Stay Pure" - a drum-less celestial ambient manifestation with distorted vocals that sounds both ethereal and post-witch. No download this time, stream here.

Intestines - Young And Retarded

Earlier this month, I blogged about Intestines' album "Organ Country", and on that same day he dropped a new EP titled "Young And Retarded". This three track release showcases him at his peak witchy side, serving up downergaze joints that will definitely appeal to Soulseek collectors of rare SALEM mp3s or early CRAVE recordings. His murky, old-school production sounds great and provides a perfect backdrop for the vocals. Clocking in at just five minutes, the EP serves as an ideal introduction to his body of work. Recommended!

Grab the EP from Bandcamp here. Stream below.

Human Hollow - Could You Feel It Again?

Austin and Lucia returned last month with a new Human Hollow cut "Could You Feel It Again?", but somehow I missed out on it. Electro-rock "song about disintegration", always good to hear those two back. Buy the single here.

Chayn Sloth & Pale Palace - Panic Ride

Image

The Isolation Cult team is back from the booth with "Panic Ride", a catchy rap tune from Chayn that will make you bop your head thanks to Pale Palace's infectious beat. Free download from the Soundcloud vault. Enjoy!

A Large Sheet Of Muscle - Possession Centre

"Possession Centre" is the new album from Louis Johnstone, released under the guise of A Large Sheet Of Muscle. This phone-made abstract record is a collection of 14 musique concrète snippets, twisted monologues and dadaist ambient experimentations that should defy your expectations (or totally confirm them - if you know Lou's previous work). Wicked stuff.

И⸸CO▽SLΛVΞ - Way To Heaven

Nico Slave's fresh new single "Way To Heaven" delivers a slow, dreamlike trance dipped into the witch house waters, resulting in something different from his usual full-on assault. Love it. Support him by copping the track here.

STRFLL - Live At Riga

Half an hour of live renditions of STRFLL's hits from the latest album "In Memoriam", recorded during their Latvian gig in Riga. Perfect brew of Lo-fi fuzz and witchy soul. This only cements my belief that "Forget" is the best track of 2025.

Drug Machine - Visage Sans Nom (The Mater Suspiria Vision Trance Mix)

MSV takes on Drug Machine's lead single from the latest "Ecstasy EP". I love the idea of what was envisioned on "Visage Sans Nom (The Mater Suspiria Vision Trance Mix)", but unfortunately the remix suffers from the same issue that plagued the original - it sounds quite flat. The illbient edit is buried under layers of noise and hiss, masking the bass issues, but it still feels off. I want to love this, but something isn't right.

Buy the single here. Stream after the jump.

Ourobonic Plague - NC-XP2: Baited

This is the second follow up to OP's "Night Ceremony" EP (which I'm yet to cover here), after the "Fresh Out" single from November last year. "Baited" steps into the murky world of bass music blended with slow-mo hip-hop beats, while the 30-minute long Dinosaur. M.T. mix takes a plunge into droninig landscapes brushed with an eerie sensation. I came for the original track, but stayed for the epic remix.

Cop the single here, and stream both tracks down below.

For Lunar Dust - When A Horse Falls...

Gartex - Heartache

E_Death started a label! Her own Bandcamp page evolved into Eternal Life shop-front, and now includes a new album by San Franciso-based DJ and producer Gabriela Kai Ramire aka Gartex. Her latest album "Heartache" should easily appear to fans of Salem's Edith Underground productions. Rave on.

Estoc - My Mind Went Blank (Mixtape)

Holy shiiiit. Estoc's new mixtape is a mega-mashup extravaganza, teleporting between the last four decades of music and blending, chopping and remixing some of the biggest hits of those eras. Possessed MTV bender. That Pixies/Guccie Mane blend definitely needs a proper release. Free download here.

Balam Acab - Stabilization (N)mode

Balam Acab is back after years of radio silence with a mammoth album/compilation "Stabilization (N)mode". By packing 41 (!) tracks/sketches/alternative versions/sonic ideas into this record, Alec offers a glimpse into his creative mind, opening the gate to a trove of beats that sit at the intersection of leftfield hip-hop, lo-fi cloud rap, vapor-trap and aqua'n'b. Think Palmistry, oFF Love and Elite Gymnastics all blended into a Balamy pill, ready for dosage.

Afterlife - Wth>You // video

Afterlife return after their rad album "MMXXV" with a witchgazing single "Wth>You". Soaked in fuzz, the ethereal melody carries the song alongside distorted vocals. Fucking A. Download here.

Concrete Colored Paint - Saahat

Concrete Colored Paint is yet another alias of the incredibly prolific Peter Kris of German Army fame. On "Saahat", his second album released via French label Falt, he takes us on a cinematic, dark journey through drone music and textured ambient. Each piece here is long enough to lose yourself in, yet ends before it fully consumes you. Music fit for space-exploring movies. This could've easily found a home on the Language Instinct label.

You can download "Saahat" for free here. Stream it in full after the jump.

Pictureplane - Losing My Mind

"Losing My Mind" was created during the making of Pictureplane's last album, but was left off the record. And it absolutely rips! Dreamy, lush, like being transported into the Neverending Story world. Download the track here.

The New Romantics - My Condition

New Romantics dropped their new single today, and it's seriously a book definition of a gnarly darkwave-synthpop jam. One for all the shy goths that secretly want to dance to something in the club. Bliss. You can cop "My Condition" here.

Inersha - Jus The Way U Are

Sick new track from Aidan, it has some of that Pale Palace power, but still manages to bring a ton of emotions into the mix. When "Jus The Way U Are" hits - it HITS.

Malebranche, Lo Sciacallo - Tenebrismo

Illuminated Paths released this curious, possessed VHS-type album by the cryptic Italian project Malebranche, Lo Sciacallo. "Tenebrismo" consists of 17 tracks that will suck you in the weirdo world of analog TV from the yester-century. Lo-fi vaporwave and eerie plunderphonics spill into witch house hypnagogia, leaving a slimy trail behind reminiscent of the haunted abstraction once championed by fellow Italian DVD label AAVV. Halloween music that crept out of season.

Grab a limited edition tape here. Stream the whole album below.

Lil Peptoman - Teef

Lil Peptoman has disappeared from my radar for a while, so it's good to come across this new track. Witchy emo trap for all the sad boys out there. Support the artist by copping the track here.

STRFLL - Stripped Down, Torn Apart

Bandcamp day special from STRFLL, offering two "stripped-down" versions of "In Memorial" bangers "Hold On" and "Forget". Guitar heavy goodness from the North East, now it makes me wonder how those two would sound in an acoustic version. Support and stream here.

Ourobonic Plague - Bear Mask

Ourobonic Plague is back with "Bear Mask" - six minutes of stripped down, moody, post-industrial landscape. Tense, slow and heavy, just like we like it. Support the man here.

Mater Suspiria Vision - Chloroforme (Stigmata Remix) // video

"

Ok, I'm pretty sure Stigmata is not a remixer but just a version of the track by MSV. This one's on the EDM/brostep tip, suprisingly pulling it off. The track will appear on the upcoming remix album.

S.Maharba - Arms & Legs

Digital reissue of S.Maharba's demo from 2006, originally released on a limited CDR. Dope instrumentals from the golden era of the beats scene, sprinkled with rap features and vocal samples. The production, while abstract, has a note of jazzy flavour, resulting in an album that should appeal to proper hip-hop heads as well as more far-out fans of Flying Lotus.

Support it here, and stream down below.
