MSV takes on Drug Machine's lead single from the latest "Ecstasy EP". I love the idea of what was envisioned on "Visage Sans Nom (The Mater Suspiria Vision Trance Mix)", but unfortunately the remix suffers from the same issue that plagued the original - it sounds quite flat. The illbient edit is buried under layers of noise and hiss, masking the bass issues, but it still feels off. I want to love this, but something isn't right.

Ok, I'm pretty sure Stigmata is not a remixer but just a version of the track by MSV. This one's on the EDM/brostep tip, suprisingly pulling it off. The track will appear on the upcoming remix album.

Sister Faith is most probably yet another alias of CDX. Here, he remixes one of my favourite tracks of 2025, lifted from MSV's "Cinemagoria" album, giving it a psychedelic italo spin. This track, along with six other edits, can be now found on the remix album "Cinemagoria - The Vogue Witch Remixes", which you can download here.
"Cruxifixion Néon Sur Hollywood Blvd" is the first video single promoting the upcoming album "Cinemagoria" from Mater Suspiria Vision. Starring Violette de Lestrange, the NSFW black and white clip is paired with a haunting beat layered with heavy delay effects that channel that classic MSV vibe. Unfortunately, due to nudity, Youtube bans the preview above, so head over here to see it. The album will be out on June 30 on CD.
There's a warp in the current timeline, and Mater Suspiria Vision has managed to use it to channel the 2010 witch house era with this record. Blue Rita's "The Electronic Mind Of Blue Rita" gets a classic ghost drone treatment from this haunted house OG act, who bends, distorts, drags, and delays all the originals to their liking. This one is a proper treat for people like me who remember the early months of 2010 and what followed. I absolutely love this neo-nostalgic album.

This one features two remixes from the split mastermind of Cosmortropia de Xam: possessed cacophony of sounds by Anna Luisa Syversen on track one, and ghostly manifestations from De Duivelse Zusters. Both unique in their own right.

Second in a trilogy of EPs promoting Mater Suspiria Vision's latest album "Cosmic Silver". The first version of "Das Haus der Hexe" appeared on group's 2011 album "Inverted Triangle I", and part two is built mostly on the stems from that version. The opening single features vocals from the Austraian cult radio personality Sammantha Leesonja aka Theway Peoplestare, hyping up in her classic fashion the original single. While being solid at what it is, it's the AI-fueled remixes that steal the show here and prove how well this technology can lift work. Death Dance remix is my fav out of the three, alluring darkwave club banger. Проклятая Реальность remix brings some of that soft spoken folk-witch polish, while Cronenberg Complex turns the original into a cross between synthwave and beat instrumental. Just wow. Don't sleep on this one.

First EP promoting MSV's new album "Cosmic Silver", featuring three version of the titular single. The video edit is probably my fav track here, a bit retro-futuristic take on Mater Suspiria Vision classic witch house sound. The paradise edit is a 14-minute trip trough the previous version that morphs into half gothic half dreamy hypnagogic nightmare. Blue Rita's remix adds a small dose of electro-synth-italo flava, but there's something about it that just doesn't sit right with me.

Yet another surprise EP from Phantasma Disques, I have a strong feeling Blue Rita may be a secret side project of Cosmotropia de Xam... The original version is an upbeat pop-ish italo-disco track that's ok I guess, but it's the MSV remix that shines here, dragging the vocals down a bit and adding layers of those reverbed drumms.

The latest release from Mater Suspiria Vision "Hotel Trancesylvania" landed in my mailbox many moons ago, but for some reason I've delayed this review for months. Since I got it, the album has been on constant replay. I actually loved it so much I managed to get MSV agree to let me release it via Dagger Forest on tape, complete with bonus tracks and remixes. Phantasma Disques obviously did a CDR version too. In my opinion, it's their finest record in years, bridging the gap between their original DIY production style and contemporary experimentation. Hypnagogic drones set the stage for layers of eerie synths and haunting ambience, complemented by ghostly vocals from Æchidna Morgan Kamen and trippy contributions from Shazzula. The latter's input to the LP proves how much chemistry and mutual understanding is between her and Cosmotropia de Xam, which leaves me yearning for a potential Shazzula/MSV album. Tracks like "Power Of Intensity" or "Crawler's Revenge" pay homage to the Disaro days, without sounding derivative or trying to resurrect a bygone era. On the contrary, they cement the band's legacy as an underground tour-de-force and originator. Ultimately the album is a thrilling and wholly immersive journey into the world of one of the most innovative artists of the post-internet era.

Third single promoting MSV's album "Hotel Trancesylvania". The album will see a cassette release with a bunch of bonus remixes on Dagger Forest on December 29th - 14th anniversary of the creation of MSV.
Feral is a comic book founded by illustrator Ömer Yalinkilic in 2020. He's collaborated extensively over the last few years with Mater Suspiria Vision, drawing from their expanded universe, so it's no surprise that the group is also one of the featured artists on this new 10" vinyl record released by the publisher. "Feral Horror Sounds Volume 1" is a mini-album divided into crypt side, dedicated to rockabilly and surf rock (Messer Chups, The Real Deal, Dave Phillips, The Blue Velvets, The Go Devils), and bloody side, which includes an exclusive, 10-minute long track from MSV + their recent single "Dracula" from "Hotel Trancesylvania". "The Return (Instrumental Demo 2023)" is a classic-sounding Mater Suspiria Vision song, with war drums giving the track a momentum. One for horror fans. Stream above.
