Akira Kintsugi is a Mexico City-based producer who's relatively new to the scene (as far as I know). His solo bandcamp debut comes in a form of a remix of SEXES' "Placer Displacer" track. The original is a indie pop/rock composition that would be banging on the radio in the 90s. Akira's remix is a deconstructed, minimal edit of the single, focusing on the ethereal, choir-focused ambient interlude there, and expanding that into a whole new composition.
