Last year, Conjvre the Circle released a dark ambient album by Lyon-based composer Philippe Blache titled "Tristitiam Et Metus Tradam Portare Ventis". While Day Before Us is his main project, Philippe decided to chose to use his birth name for this record, which suggests it's a more personal and intimate project. Mixing atmospheric soundscapes and drones with neoclassical piano lines and haunting vocals, the album will slowly creep into your headphones like an eerie mist, gradually blending the blurry line between dream and reality. The remains of vocal whispers add an extra layer of witchhouse-y creepiness, reminiscent of more experimental compositions by Mater Suspiria Vision.
