Nattymari - Bassless

New album from Nattymari just landed on bandcamp. Part lo-fi IDM, part chill downtempo beats and part mellow hip-hop instrumentals, "Baseless" is a record that vibes like a soundtrack to a 90s quest-type PC game set in space. There are a few darker moments throughout ("In Darkness" and "Beeknees"), but overall it's a smooth journey through various levels of a sonic arcade.

V.A. - Thee Alpha And Thee Omega Vol X

Rad new compilation from Clan Destine Records, final one in the Alpha And Omega series that's been running since February 2021. Organised by Carl Clandestine, he invited 11 underground music outcasts for this project, including Mascara (who hasn't released anything new since his album in 2015), Nattymari, Cave Castle, Filmmaker, Dim Deck and more. Techno, acid, electro, EBM, phonk and more wicked shit.

There are a handful of copies left on tape, you can grab them here. Stream the whole thing below.

Nattymari - Beyond Baruch (For Douglas Steindorff)

New Nattymari joint, recorded for his friend. Weird, slowly burning IDM mutation that feels like something made for a space church. Cop here.

Nattymari - Y[i]fy topS

Nattymari dropped this screwed pop mixtape they other day, 46 minutes of lean hits and drag edits of pop hits, known and unknown. The caption says it all: "dedicated to a simpler time... when myspace ruled, we spoke in JPGs, curated our Tumblrs and shared and stole our music with Megaupload and Rapidshare.♡(ŐωŐ人)". Grab it here.

Nattymari - Innovation Breaks

"Innovation Breaks" is the latest album from the producer and music journalist Nattymari. Listening to those fourteen nuggets, advertised as "just some ruff beats", feels like digging through the exotica box in a vintage record store, with each track having a life of its own thanks to eclectic selection of samples and a simple break serving as a backbone of the composition. 90s hip hop heads will appreciate this.
