Silver Tears - Silver Tears

Silver Tears is the new band by Berlin-based musicians Curses and Skelesys. Their self-titled debut was released earlier this month by Avant! Records and should appeal to everyone hungry for solid, gothic-tinted darkwave and post-punk. I don't want to diminish Skelesys' input on this album, but it seriously sounds like the follow-up to "Incarnadine" I've been waiting for. It's not as good, but the vibe is totally there. It's been on repeat almost every day since I discovered it.

Banal Minutiae - Lorentz4

Banal Minutiae posted a couple new tracks on his Soundcloud, "Lorentz4" being my favourite. Incredibly cinematic and atmospheric synth piece that gradually picks up tempo with the addition of the drums - the whole thing feels like an intro to a 80s style movie featuring Tom Cruise. Stream here.

STRFLL - Untitled

STRFLL's four-track EP arrived at the end of Summer 2025, following the acclaimed debut album "In Memoriam". It’s probably their most hip-hop-leaning release in a while, packed with fat beats and heavy bass.

NonCanonDeath - Sleep Within Me

NonCanonDeath, also known as Cazvra, is an experimental electronic producer from Indiana whose project oscillates between noise-ambient and lo-fi beats. "Sleep Within Me" is his debut album for Language Instict, where it found home for its grainy textures and desolate soundscapes.

Tess Conway & The Implicit Order - Western Plains

Tess Conway and The Implicit Order joined forces to create this late-night ambientgaze single "Western Plains". It drifts somewhere between the realm of dreams and the edge of a moonlit lake, where the sounds of nature gently weave into a soundscape that is both blissful and slightly eerie. The track will appear at some point on Anthony's upcoming compilation "Singles 4". In the meantime, you can download and stream this collaboration here.

Mater Suspiria Vision - Cinemagnitism (She Came in Static) (Sister Faith Remix) // video

Sister Faith is most probably yet another alias of CDX. Here, he remixes one of my favourite tracks of 2025, lifted from MSV's "Cinemagoria" album, giving it a psychedelic italo spin. This track, along with six other edits, can be now found on the remix album "Cinemagoria - The Vogue Witch Remixes", which you can download here.

Dijit - Wisswass

Egyptian prince of murky trip-hop is back with a new album, "Wisswass". Released by Accidental Meetings, Dijit continues here his flawless streak of atmospheric music that manages to curiously stroll through the time vortex, take cues from the esoteric past, and blend them with modern production that's rooted in URL-electronica, alt-pop and hip-hop. Unique and special.

Mary Shelley - Arsonist's Lullaby

Mary Shelley returns with "Arsonist's Lullaby", out today in digital format via Vertigo Cult and as a limited 3" CDR edition from Bone Valley. This deathly strain of dark ambient pushes her sound to the outermost edges of her career, channelling buried sins and the shadows of the unknown. Layers of industrial experimentation, gritty noise, and cinematic drones collapse into each other, summoning eerie echoes from beyond the grave.

Bflores - In Absence Outtakes

Bflores has shared on his Soundcloud account a rather amazing expansion pack to the "In Absence" EP, which came out a few months back on Vertigo Cult. While tagged as 'deep house', the two-track outtakes release offers so much more - "7:51" sounds like a strange (but dope) bastard child of Hype Williams and Burial, while "Lights" brings some late-night minimal vibes into the house mix. Franco-German collaboration between Sad Madona and Flawless Issues is a unique project that can't shake off the witch house label - in the best sense possible. The thumping beats, punchy synths, dark atmosphere looming in the background, and the iconic keys all make this track a brilliant listen that will appeal to witchy dancefloor fans. Humanfobia - Orbs In My Room

Illuminated Paths has just released a new album from the Chilean powerhouse Humanfobia, entitled "Orbs In My Room". It is spooky business through and through, further deepening their haunted lore with Japanese references, sample flipping, and atmosphere building. The second half of the album really resonates with me - I'm especially digging the uneasy soundscapes and obscure sound collages.

Milliken Chamber - Hyperphantasia

LA duo Milliken Chamber (Kevin Czarnik and Anna Schmidt) return with a new album after a six-year break. It feels odd writing about them here for the first time, as I've felt like I've been following them for ages. Their new record "Hyperphantasia" delivers their signature melodic yet minimal coldwave sound, drawing inspiration from synthwave, gothic new wave, and EBM. A genuine pleasure to listen to.

Nod Racing - Crisis Actor EP

Nod Racing is a newcomer to the UK witch house scene, reportedly based in Manchester according to Bandcamp tags. His five-track debut EP "Crisis Actor" is a strong introduction to his style, which is partly inspired by UK bass and electro dance. Undercurrents of wobbly bass and hip-hop beats propel most of the tracks, giving them a distinct flavour that grabbed me straight away. Solid stuff from beginning to end. Check it out.

Human Hollow - Delgado

Austin and Lucia are back, this time in their darkest incarnation so far. "Delgado" is a radical industrial/EBM single that manages to bring something fresh to the table without losing their identity. Love this! The 3-track single also includes an instrumental, and an experimental remix from Austin's side project Nomenclature.

Crushing power electronics from Austria. Animal Lust came onto the scene this year, and has been dropping EPs and collaborative splits like crazy. Vear - It's Hidden In The Dirt

Vear is an occult ritual noise project based in Adelaide, which I recently came across on the noise subreddit. His latest record, "It's Hidden in the Dirt", is inspired by the film The Blair Witch Project and serves as a atmospheric sonic sequel to the cult horror classic. Ritual drones are drenched in an eerie layer of noise that seeps through the cracks of the speakers like a dark ambient fog. An amazing folk record for seekers of morbid adventures.

C. Moore Laufman - Complete Works: '22 - '25

So this one may be a bit confusing, because last year we got "...mÿ pe@ce i 1eave y#u", which compiled a bunch of singles and an EP into one package, only to be deleted and reposted yesterday with two extra songs as "Complete Works: '22 - '25". The previously unreleased tracks "Queen Mab (Romeo Edit)" and "5G" add an extra layer to Christopher's folk repertoire - brilliant as always.

Exsufflation - Awaiting Eternity

Sitting at the intersection of witch house and hip-hop is "Awaiting Eternity" - the latest EP from Exsufflation. Following "Heresy" on Vertigo Cult, this new project leans into catchy, mellow beats that feel like they'd work well with vocals layered on top. Still, it's the energetic "Skin" that really stands out here. Overall, it's a decent release, but I think Rob has the potential to push things even further.

Freshly released demo EP from a new noise/ambient project I discovered today on Reddit. I Burned My Suicide Note is based in Hawaii, and their debut release consists of four fairly short compositions that oscillate between noisy textures, field recordings, and ambient soundscapes. One for Language Instinct fans.

Rein - Power & Passion Remixes

Came across this single thanks to Mike Textbeak, what a juicy find. Rein is an alias of Stockholm-based singer and producer Joanna Reinikainen. "Power & Passion" is lifted from her 2023 album "God Is A Woman", and is paired here with two radical remixes from The Hacker (super catchy EBM) and Wax Wings (techno banger). Not a single weak spot on this single. Download it here.

Pepsy has finally uploaded to his Bandcamp page the SALEM bootleg he made a while back on YouTube - seven ungodly remixes that drag SALEM's originals through dirt and lo-fi effects, making them grimier and more evil-sounding.
