Video single lifterd from the album "Forever", out now on Re:Mission Entertainment.

Ritualz - Testify
"Testify" is the second single promoting the upcoming 15 years anniversary compilation from Ritualz. The track dials up the zombie tempos of the 2010 era, serving a dose of the old school vibe that could easily make it to JC's first two EPs. Pre-order the album "Forever" here.

The record is scheduled for 18 July, and will be released by Re:Mission Entertainment. Ritualz - Falling Away From Me
Fourth and final maxi-single from Ritualz, released ahead of his new album "Mimic" that will come out on February 21 via Re:mission Ent. "Falling Away From Me" is one of Korn's most recognisable singles, and turning it into even more badass joint. As usual with his releases, JC provides a slowed down and sped up versions, as well as an instrumental. Cop it while it's hot!
You can order the CD of the single here, and check out all the tracks down below.

Ritualz - Believe In Me
Ritualz unexpectedly released a new single today, along with the announcement of his upcoming album "Mimic", which is set to be released on February 4th via Re:mission Entertainment. "Believe In Me" is a cover of Lenny Kravitz's single from his 2001 album "Lenny". JC has added a solid dose of distorted guitars and industrial polish to the original, making it his own with ease. Like his previous maxi-singles, "Believe In Me" also comes in slowed and sped-up versions, as well as with an instrumental.
Get the CD single here, and stream all the versions below.

Ritualz - Policy Of Truth
Another Halloween special comes from Ritualz. "Policy Of Truth" is a cover of Depeche Mode single, which we get here in three formats: post-industrial witch-pop, dragged out edit and sped-up "nightcore" version. The single got a CD release too, apparently limited, so don't sleep on that.
Grab the CD/digital here and stream all three tracks below.

Ritualz - Hypermotion X 2.0
Dagger Forest will release tomorrow a compilation of two extraterrestial EPs from Ritualz: "Hypermotion X" and "Hypermotion Demos", now collectively named "Hypermotion X 2.0". The newly mastered material is a spaced-out take on the trance-leaning spectrum of JC's work. The original "Hypermotion X" was published in 2012 by Mishka NYC, while the demos were self-released by the artist one year later. The former EP consists of four post-trance witch transmissions destined for the clubbing after-party cooldown zone. Kicking off with the cinematic, eerie ambient intro (that got extended for this tape release), Ritualz channels darkwave influences intertwined with witchhouse elements and melodic vocals throught the next three tracks - each one unique in its own right. "Limerence" is a the slowest of them all, like a sad ballad with muted vocals, dope beats and synths. "Alien" ups the tempo with his signature witch-trance only to be countered by pulsing "Rhythmic Release". Side B includes two demo versions of "Limerence" and "Alien", backed with three dance-focused tracks that further explore the underground trance-phoria. Brillaint release and a great companion to Mascara's "Heru-Ra-Ha" from the same label.
Order the tapes here, and check out the whole release below.

Ritualz - Violently Happy
"Violently Happy" is one of the few singles from Bjork that I enjoy, here covered and reworked by Ritualz with an industrial spin to it, making it sound even better than the original. The witchy S+R remix is equally good, giving it a zombie rave edge, perfect for a graveyear shift. The nightcore filp may require a couple of Redbulls to appreciate it fully, but overall it's a dope, ravey edit. Nice one!
Grab the release here, and stream it after the jump.

Ritualz - World Class Sinner (Ritualz Demonic Edit)
Dragged edit from Ritualz of the single sang by the nepobaby Lily-Rose Depp, lifted from the HBO show The Idol. The original is nothing more than basic pop tune, at least in the syruppy version it's more user friendly.

Ritualz - Ugly // video
Ritualz has just released a video to his cover of Smashing Pumpkins' "Ugly", which was initially included in the "Disintegration" maxi-single and then made its way to the "Radical Macabro" deluxe box set. I love the choice of make-up tutorial as the visual backdrop for this particular song. Love it.

Ritualz - Radical Macabro
I was teasing Ritualz' latest record over the course of last year, premiering all the maxi singles (here, here, here, here, and here), but I realised I had never properly blogged about the album itself. "Radical Macabro" came out in June, and it's been on rotation in my stereo since it dropped (especially the "Die Here Now" single). With industrial rock serving as its exoskeleton, it's hard not to notice Ritualz embracing his witchy 2010 roots, while also evoking and injecting metal and darkwave influences in the tracks throughout the record. The result is fantastic, and should satisfy both fans of his early work as well as people who appreciate his progression present on the previous album "Doom".
You can buy "Radical Macabro" in digital format on Bandcamp, or on CD (and as a limited edition boxset) on Bigcartel. Stream below.

Ritualz - Radical Macabro
After an insanely busy first half of 2022, defined by five elaborate maxi-singles ("Disintegration", "Nadir", "Dose", "Static Noise" and "Die Here Now"), videos, and collaborations, the long-awaited follow up to Ritualz' "Doom" is finally just around the corner. The new album "Radical Macabro" will come out on 24 June in CD format, either as a slick Digipack, or a massive (content-wise) deluxe box set, which will be limited to 50 copies. The deluxe set will include all the maxis released as separate CDs, a zine, digital versions of the instrumental AND slowwwed editions of the main record. You can pre-order all that from Ritualz' bandcamp plus get the digital version of the LP if that's you thing. On top of all that, Ritualz is going on tour around the USA and EU, head over here to see all the dates.

Ritualz - Die Here Now
Fifth and final maxi single from Ritualz, heralding the arrival of his new album "Radical Macabro". The titular track is quite likely my fav song from the album so far (well, maybe just behind "Disintegration"), very ominous sounding, thanks to the pulsing, alarm-like structure of the track. The single also includes remixes from Nailbeds, experimental trance alter-ego of Killian Brom from Youryoungbody, as well as Black Magnet who injects some industrial-metal vibe into the original. It also has a couple of remixes by me and a cover of Xxxtentacion's "Numb".
Head over to Ritualz' bandcamp here to pre-order it, and stream it below (more tracks will be available soon).

Ritualz - Static Noise
New month, new maxi-single from Ritualz, I must admit I totally respect that hustle and commitment. Like the previous three maxis, it is promoting his upcoming album "Radical Macabro", and will also include a couple of new tracks, Placebo cover, and two remixes by Bloody Knives and noaura. So far I've only heard "Static Noise", a post-industral track with some witchy and post-punk influences embedded at its core, meaning it should go just fine with "Dose", "Nadir" and "Disintegration". Full single will be coming out on April 26th, so watch this space.

Ritualz - Dose
"Dose" is the third single promoting the upcoming album "Radical Macabro" from Ritualz. This one should definitely hit the spot with all the fans of his early EPs, its dark trance infused synths mixed with noisy industrial beats give the composition an old school witch-house vibe, while the grainy video takes me back to the early 00s. The track is part of the larger maxi-single under the same name, which will also feature extra edits from the man himself, a cover of Queenadreena's "Razorblade Sky", plus additional remixes from SØLVE and Strega Beata (fka Lana del Rabies). The whole package will be available here from March 29th.

Ritualz - Nadir
Earlier this month we got the first maxi-single promoting Ritualz' upcoming album "Radical Macabro". Yesterday the follow up entitled "Nadir" premiered on Bandcamp. Once again seven tracks strong, it includes remixes from Dave Parley and Dark Sister, plus a cover of Norwegian goth rockers Joyless. "Nadir" itself taps into the industrial vibe present on its predecessor "Disintegration", and is also reinterpreted by Ritualz as a dark synthwave-flavoured recording (anagrammed as "Drain") as well as a slightly dragged and rearranged version. From the two guest remixes, I love the Dave Parley flip, which honestly beats the original in my book.
"Nadir" is now available on most digial platforms, but as always I do recommend supporting Ritualz on Bandcamp here. You can stream the whole maxi below.

Ritualz - Disintegration (Pictureplane Remix)
Last week I posted about the upcoming maxi-single from Ritualz (out Feb 1st), and yesterday we got to hear the remix of the titular track by Pictureplane. His version strips down the harsher industrial layer from the original, slows down the tempo and adds some of his signature synths into the mix, that go really well with JC's vocals. I think the official collab track of those two is long overdue.
Stream the remix above, and pre-order "Disintegration" here. Ritualz' new album "Radical Macabro" will be out later this year.
