V.A. - All Blurred Out Vol. 2

All Blurred Out Records are back with volume two in their compilation series. Just like the previous volume, part two is also accompanied by a zine created by the artists from the label. Fifteen tracks deep, the album features tracks from VeXe †, Three Wishes, Pharmacist, tetohundred, dancing in slow motion, STRFLL, Luke Petet, COOK, jaw, zero and CHARLATAN. Expect anything and everything that could crawl out of a drawer labeled post-witchhouse. Really dope stuff.

Buy the digital and the zine here, and stream "All Blurred Out Vol. 2" below.

German Army - A Wave Of Self Turmoil

Released in March via Brazilian Draq Distro, "A Wave Of Self Turmoil" is one the latest albums from incredibly prolific and enigmatic duo German Army. Ambient and drone soundscapes clash with noise and industrial approaches here, forming an album that is eclectic and never predictable.

Tapes are available for purchase here (but the shipping may be a bit pricey). Stream below.

Three Wishes - Bag

Three Wishes came to my attention thanks to his mellow synth drag opener for the great All Blurred Out compilation that came out earlier this year. Based in Victoria, Canada, he's been slowly putting out music on Soundcloud (which at the moment boasts five tracks), but with his involvement with the aforementioned album, I hope we will see some more stuff being published. His latest production, "Bag", is a rad remix of Gucci Mane & Migos' track "I Get The Bag", replacing the original minimal trap production with a mix of post-witchhouse and hip-hop beatmaking, making the verses livelier and punchier. I really love this take and I'm looking forward to All Blurred Out vol 2 which should come out soon.

Junior - Nightime

Junior is an alias of one Devin Finucane, a rapper and producer based in Colorado (based on my shady reasearch). He hasn't released much as of yet, but what's out is really rad, sitting at the intersection of SALEM-flavoured syruppy witch house and thoed mumble rap, that may also appeal to early Fostercare fans. The Jack Donoghue inspiration is ripe here, but somehow Junior manages to have his own thing going on, both in terms of the beats and delivery. One to look out for, make sure to check out his other tracks on Soundcloud here.

Automatic - Excess

Los Angeles-based electronic post-punk trio Automatic (Izzy Glaudini on synths and lead vocals, Lola Dompé on drums and vocals, and Halle Saxon on bass and vocals) have dropped their sophomore album today. "Excess" is released via Stones Throw and consists of ten spaced out post-punk jams, that manage to channel psych rock trippiness and at the same time maintain serious pop appeal. It's an album that feels like a journey through three decades of music, with its hippie charm and 70s rebel attitude, both immacutalely injected with 80s kitschiness on their fringes. This one will make you dance at parties and in your rooms. Love it.

The album is out on vinyl in a variety of formats that can be pre-ordered here or if you're based in the UK from Rough Trade. Stream below.

CRAVE - Jigsaw

CRAVE is back with "Jigsaw", an eight minutes long haunting piece that sits somewhere between droning loops, dragged spoken word and ambient soundscapes, all of which give the composition an eerie feeling of uneasy peacefulness. In the words of Dale Cooper "I have no idea where this will lead us, but I have a definite feeling it will be a place both wonderful and strange".You can purchase this stand-alone single here.
