Bone Valley label launch

I'm pleased to announce the official launch of my new label called Bone Valley. It will release exclusively 3" CDRs in limited editions and focus mainly on industrial, noise, dark ambient, drone and witch house. The first release from Ghost Mirror came out on July 29, and a new batch of three new EPs premiered today. These include "More" by White Columns, "Votive Deposit" by Pharmacist, and "Modernity" by Natural Orthodoxy. You can preview all CDRs here. Streams are available here, but there will be no digital downloads (unless directly from the artists).

Pharmacist - Votive Deposit

Vertigo Cult is back with a bang for 2025 with the new EP from Pharmacist. "Votive Deposit" marks his return after last year's excellent "Kill Everyone Now", delivering darker, ambient-leaning transmissions that push his sound into drone-heavy territory. Slowed-down dread marked by gritty textures and gluey synths seeps from the speakers like black tar. I blogged about "Ankh" and "Cement" before, but I just wanted to shine some light on "Gashshine" and "Blood" as well - they're simply amazing and Collin's vocals are hypnotizing. An incredible sonic dessert after the 2024 main course.

Pharmacist - Cement

"Cement" is the second single promoting Collin's upcoming EP for Vertigo Cult, which is due April 17th. Growling wall of sounds and a dark ambient soundscape is a recipe for sick track - and it delivers, giving a sci-fi-like vibe.

Two of my favourite producers right now decided to work together on this mellow joint above. "Cry Out", produced by Pale Palace using a sample supplied by Pharmacist, is a lo-fi cloud-rap beat - an instrumental I could imagine ASAP Rocky dropping bars over. Lush and dragged muffled-ambient remix of Oklou's single "Choke Enough", immaculately edited Pharmacist. So much better than the hyper-minimal original. Download it for free here.

Dylusion - Hysteria (Pharmacist Remix)

Sick new remix from Collin of San Francisco-based project Dylusion, lifted from his remix album "National Adderall Surplus". Unlike anything Collin has made so far, yet it has a distinct mark of his production. Love it.

Pharmacist - Kill Everyone Now

After a string of digital singles, a compilation tape and my personal EP of the year, Pharmacist has unleashed his debut album a couple of weeks ago via his newly minted Yearning label. "Kill Everyone Now" consists of 15 tracks (four exclusive to the CD version) that continue Collin's incredible, genre-pushing streak. His music distills traces of bewitching downergaze ("Fluorine" and "Hypothermia"), desolate soundscapes ("Crusade" and "Black Day") and minimal synth ("Filth") into a witch-house ectoplasm that will slowly seep from your speakers. Add to that the bittersweet and hypnotising crooning that makes Pharmacist's style so unique, and the result is nothing short of extraordinary. "If You Get Lost on the Way" will probably end up being my fav track of the year. Support!

I've had a pleasure to listen to this song for the past few months now, and I'm incredible stoked that Pharmacist has finally released it as a video single. Incredible songwriting and mood building. It's lifted from his new album "Kill Everyone Now".

Pharmacist + Three Wishes - Maelstrom (Stay Healthy Remix)

Perfect remix of a perfect track right here, Stay Healthy delivered something special for the Pharmacist and Three Wishes' tape. Their version of "Maelstrom" sits somewhere between a cover and a remix, altering the original's DNA and creating a tribute of sorts. Beautiful. Grab the tapes here.

"Larceny / Sanitizer" is the latest double feature from Collin Kirk aka Pharmacist, following up his quite incredible split EP with Three Wishes back in April. Squishy, noisy and DIY at its core witchhouse, radical and unique as always, this may be my fav single from him so far!

Three Wishes and Pharmacist - The Things Only I Know

Split EP from two All Blurred Out collaborators - Three Wishes and Pharmacist. Not surprisingly, "The Things Only I Know" goes hard, a perfect dose of anti-rave witchhouse that takes me back to the early SALEM demos' leaks. "Maelstrom" may be my fav track of the year, I cannot get over it! Three Wishes solo tracks are sick, but he's flying a bit too close to the SALEM's sun... (especially on "Shut Eye"). Pharmacist is constantly progressing, he's unstoppabe at the moment. The whole EP is closed with a remix from this blog's favourite Vidchajj, who adds his own splash on "Shellshock". Brilliant stuff, recommended!
